The Scarecrows’ Wedding

Yellow Class have been enjoying the Julia Donaldson book ‘The Scarecrows Wedding’ and have enjoyed their learning linked to it. Despite the current procedures that all schools have to follow, our children are still able to learn in a fun and creative way. The children have built scarecrows using sticks from the wildlife area, designed and created puppets and painted wonderful silhouette settings. Not only do these experiences develop children across the curriculum but they also enhance vocabulary and ideas which their teachers then see in our children’s writing.
