Tree Identification

Year 6 have been enjoying using their science and detective skills to identify and sort animal species. This week they moved on to the more complex challenge of identifying trees and shrubs from their leaves. Having learnt new knowledge such as leaf veins, lobed leaves and deciduous or evergreen, they used ID keys and tools to identify the trees that our local streets are named after.
