Tree Planting
In line with our school’s commitment to provide habitat for local wildlife and to help children develop views to combat climate change through eco-practices, we have been planting more trees. This planting builds on the initiative started by our school councillors planting trees and wildlife friendly shrubs over the last two years. This season we are planting native trees including rowan, alder, wild cherry, field maple and silver birch. The children enjoyed digging and refilling the holes, learning about the trees as well as finding worms!
