We Are Reading Festival

It was great to see so many of our children at the We Are Reading festival held at Lancaster and Morecambe College on a Saturday. In partnership with other schools from Lancaster and Morecambe, our choir opened the festival and our staff helped run stalls including a very popular books swap. The hundreds of visitors celebrated reading in a range of ways including making bookmarks, creating slime following instructions, decorating pebbles, listening to authors, meeting poets and writing and sharing stories!
