Willow Lane Has Talent 2019

What a talented and courageous group of children we saw performing on Wednesday evening. Having put themselves forward, come through selection rounds successfully and practised relentlessly over the last four weeks, the different performers and acts took to the stage. We saw dancers, gymnasts, musicians, magicians, singers and comedians from six year olds up to eleven year olds (and an older mystery group who looked suspiciously like members of staff). The children all performed with smiles on their faces and showed courage and effort in being on stage in front of the 120 fans in the audience. The PTFA provided the audience with sustenance and Mr Cooper skillfully pulled the show together – complete with making Mrs Fish and Mr MacKinnon perform – and the judges praised the children after each round. The winners were a popular act of young break dancers and their parents were rightly proud of them.
