At Willow Lane, we believe in supporting children’s aspirations and want them to believe they can pursue careers both locally and internationally. We also want to support members of the local community in gaining experiences which will help them achieve their aspirations. We work closely with Lancaster & Morecambe College and every year host students on placements as part of their courses – particularly those on Childcare Courses. The placements gain valuable experience and as well as giving opportunities to local people, our children benefit from an additional adult in the classroom and adults from beyond their immediate circle demonstrating aspirational paths.
