Willow Lane is a Community Primary School, which offers primary education to children aged 4 to 11. The school is organised in to seven classes of no more than 30 pupils.

For new admissions, we will ask that you also fill out the admissions form and any relevant forms that will be sent to you via our app. School will also request a copy of a child’s birth certificate on entry.

Your appeal should be submitted using the link below within twenty days of refusal of admission. The appeal provides you with an opportunity to explain why you wish to register your child at our school. Free School Meal Entitlement

All children in Reception to Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal.

However, school receives further funding called Pupil Premium for children that are eligible for Free School Meals throughout school.

From September 2026 all households receiving Universal Credit, regardless of household income, will qualify for free school meals.

If you receive Universal Credit and your child is not getting free school meals, apply by filling in the Lancashire online form.
